Ecommerce is booming and not just the US. Ecommerce is growing globally. Shoppers are turning away from brick and mortar stores and instead turning to online shopping. You can’t beat the convenience – 24/7 access to the store and shipping directly to your door. People shop from home and they shop on their cell phones. It is a massive market with plenty of room still for growth. eMarketer predicts ecommerce will continue to grow until at least 2017 when they predict sales to top $2.3 trillion.

Take advantage of the growing “Green” movement as yesterday’s throw-away society is changing to one of recycling, and reusing by offering to repair quality specialty items from vintage clocks and jewelry, to musical instruments, bicycles, old toys, and even designer shoes. Set-up areas in a refurbished garage or outbuilding where customers can pick-up or drop-off items; or offer to pick up and deliver repaired items for them.
Using a food delivery service can’t necessarily earn you money, but it can help you save you money if you constantly find yourself throwing out half the food you buy. Food delivery services send a box of food every week with new, sometimes unique vegetables, meat, fruit, and so on. If you don’t have time to shop and want simple meal-prep that leads to a good meal, a food subscription service may be perfect for you.

I retired about 10 years ago. Since then I have lived in three different senior “villages”. Renting senior apartments generally offers the benefit of having a small dog. While retirees age, tho, they often don’t have the ability to walk their pet any more. Also, when a senior has broken a hip or gone to rehab for awhile, someone has to walk the dog. I would suggest you find a way to get your name and number and what you are willing to do up onto their bulletin boards. Generally the communal laundry room has a place for such notes. Just a thought.
2. InboxDollars – InboxDollars is similar to Swagbucks, since you’re going to be taking surveys, shopping, etc., so if you want to maximize your return, sign up with both websites. They also offer a search engine that pays you (like Swagbucks) and you get $5 just for signing up. I won’t continue to list survey sites one after another down the list, but if you want to get paid to take surveys, also check out GlobalTestMarket, E-Poll Surveys and Survey Club.

Because lawyers are seeking people who match the profile of potential real-life jurors, online jury companies ask detailed questions of applicants. You should never disclose your Social Security number or credit card or banking info. Companies typically pay $10 to $60 to online jurors. Since most online jury companies won’t need a lot of jurors, signing up for multiple companies gives you a better chance of getting picked for “jury duty.”
If you enjoy speaking to groups and have a presentation that will inspire, teach, or relay a compelling story or events that appeal to your particular audience, you can consider speaking on a professional basis. Most successful speakers start part-time while working in their professions, giving workshops and keynote speeches and perfecting their presentations over several years until they earn enough to become full-time professionals.

But older entrepreneurs also face unique challenges. Because they don’t have decades to recover from a small business going bust, older entrepreneurs must be particularly vigilant about minimizing risks. They should keep a tight rein on start-up costs, avoid heavy debt loads, research the target market and choose a business structure that will protect their retirement savings from a business meltdown. Before diving in, seniors may want to test whether they’re really cut out for the entrepreneurial life—perhaps by volunteering at a business incubator where they can help mentor younger entrepreneurs.
Yes, the Wealthy Affiliate platform is awesome for retirees and pretty much anyone else who is interested in tapping into the $6 billion dollar affiliate marketing industry. But I am going to qualify your last statement that “success is guaranteed”. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme and sadly everyone is not successful Success comes to those who are willing to work for it and invest sweat equity in their business by continually performing research and writing relevant content for their niche audience. It takes time but it’s very doable.
